Catholic Identity
True. Good. Beautiful.
“The mission of schools and teachers is to develop an understanding of all that is true, good and beautiful.” — Pope Francis
Evangelization of the whole family is integral to our commitment to our Catholic identity. We invite our families to build a strong relationship with Christ. We comprehensively form the whole child, spiritually, academically, and personally to develop disciples for Christ and future Catholic leaders. Our differential at St. Pius X is our ability to create students with faith, virtue, and discipline. Our students are empowered with experiences that are good, true, and beautiful in order to positively bring Christ to the world.
“The closer one approaches to God, the simpler one becomes.” — St. Therese of the Child Jesus
The above quote from St. Therese of the Child Jesus has been chosen as our theme for the 2024-25 school year. It is a simplified version from John 3:30. “He must increase, but I must decrease.” It’s John the Baptist talking about Jesus, saying his purpose in this world is to decrease. That’s what he must do, and Jesus increase. Meaning, John the Baptist’s purpose in this world was to exalt Christ, not himself. Lord, You alone are worthy of all worship and praise.
